INTERNAL EXAMINATION CELL

The internal examination cell at Sanjo College ensures the transparent and timely conduct of all the examinations. The internal examination is scheduled (Two internal examinations) and conducted as per the guidelines of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The Internal Exam Complaint Committee will look into the complaints regarding internal examinations, if any.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS


  • Wearing the Student Identity Card is compulsory to appear for the examination, and when it fails, produce the consensus of the HoD in the prescribed format for admittance.
  • Mobile phones, Smart watches, and other electronic devices are not permitted in the examination hall. However, the candidates are allowed to use nonprogrammable calculators.
  • Exchange of any instruments (scale, pencil, calculator, etc.) is prohibited during examination, and the same shall be considered malpractice.
  • The candidate should occupy their allotted seat at least 5 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidates who reach the examination hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the examination will not be permitted to appear for it.
  • Candidates who are found to have committed any sort of malpractice are ineligible to continue the current exam and are required to bring their guardian with an apology letter duly signed by the class teacher and the HoD and submit the same to the IECC Convener, lest they be disqualified from appearing for further internal examinations, if any, and public examinations to follow.
  • Candidates will be permitted to leave the examination hall only 45 minutes after the commencement of the examination.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR INVIGILATORS


  • 1) The IEC, in consultation with the Vice-Principal, shall prepare the Duty list of the invigilators, corresponding to the hours allotted in the general timetable. In the event that any invigilator is on leave, he/she is required to intimate the same to the HoD to seek alternative arrangements.
  • Invigilators are required to report at the College IEC Office 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination and are required to reach the exam hall with a sufficient number of Question Papers, Main Answer Sheets, Additional Sheets, tags, etc., at least 5 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination.
  • All Invigilators shall wear IDENTITY CARDs, and ensure all students wear the same.
  • The Invigilators shall give the instructions necessary for the candidates to fill-in the covering page of the Main Answer Sheet. Additional Sheets shall be issued only after the Invigilator has put his/her initials on the sheet along with the date of the examination.
  • The details of absentees and malpractices shall be duly filled out in the prescribed format in case of any such event.
  • Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the examination hall until 45 minutes have passed and shall not be allowed to continue after the time stipulated for the exam.
  • At the end of the examination, the invigilator shall sort the Answer Sheets, class and subject wise, and submit the same to the IEC/Office.
